Purpose:
|
We reported an 8-year-old girl patient presented globe luxation after trauma with her bicycle brake handle that immediately managed, and achieved good visual acuity (VA).
|
Methods:
|
The patient underwent urgent surgery. Lateral canthotomy and inferior cantholysis was done, and retrobulbar hemorrhage was drainage. Immediately, the eyeball was pushed back into the orbit. At final, Temporary blepharorrhaphy was performed.
|
Results:
|
The initial VA was light perception. VA was 0.30 logMAR the following morning. One month of post-trauma follow-up, VA was 0.10 logMAR.

Conclusion:
|
We recommend immediate surgical reposition of traumatic luxated globe can restore the cosmetic and visual function.
