Purpose:
|
Ocular surface melanocytic lesions are common and sometimes a dilemma for either patients or ophthalmologists how to work up and manage.
In this talk we try to update our knowledge how to deal with a conjunctival and corneal dark lesion.

Methods:
|
The newest pathologic and clinical diagnostic methods will be discussed
A review of literature concerning to the best practical therapeutic methods will be presented by the help of different photos as well.

Results:
|
There would be hopefully an aid for the colleagues helping them how to work up and manage the patients with a dark lesion
|

Conclusion:
|
Dark (melanocytic lesion ) lesions are common and the ophthalmologists should be updated for the newest ways to manage every single patient correctly.
